Letter Writing
New Leaf - New Life often partners with organizations like Middle Way House, the Midwest Pages to Prisoners Project, All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center, the IU Middle Way House Chapter, and Bloomington PRIDE in order to write letters to incarcerated survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Meetings are generally 7-8pm on the second Wednesday of each month.

Past Meetings
- May 4, 9:30am-11:00am, All-Options (their first Friday of the month volunteer drop-in hours): We will be writing cards to incarcerated mothers & making a banner to later display outside the jail, in order to show support for incarcerated parents.
- May 9, 7pm-8pm, Meeting Room 214 at the Monroe County Public Library (MCPL): We will be writing cards to incarcerated mothers. This is the Letter-Writing to Incarcerated Survivors event. See the Facebook page for more details!
- May 13, 1pm-2pm, across from the Monroe County Justice Building (301 N. College Ave.): We will hold a banner, make signs, and pass out informational handouts. See the Facebook page or this flyer for more information.
