Tania Karnofsky, MSW
Jail Program Director

Tania has a Masters in Social Work from IUPUI. She became involved in the Monroe County Correctional Center (MCCC) as an intern in 2000, and then as an employee of Family Services where she taught parenting classes to men and women in jail. In 2005 she joined with a group of people interested in bringing more programs into the jail and helped create a nonprofit - New Leaf-New Life. Today, she directs NLNL's programming inside the jail. She coordinates volunteers and activities, and directs the adult education classes and the AIR (Addicts in Recovery) dorm. Men and women inncarcerated in the MCCC can write to Tania via in-house mail for assistance, as well as property transfers.  Tania works to  stay involved with what's going on outside and maintain contact with people after they leave the MCCC.
Marilyn Dallas
Transitional Manager, New Leaf New Life

A lifelong Bloomingtonian, Marilyn has deep roots in the community.  Through finding her own success after addiction and incarceration, she has dedicated herself to helping others by sharing what she has learned from walking-the-walk and through attaining degrees in addiction treatment and human services.
We were delighted to have Marilyn invited to be on a panel on "Returning Citizens: What Really Works in Re-entry?" at the 45h Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation!

We welcome our 2015-2016 interns: Colte Davis (IU), Ashli Harrison (Ivy Tech), & Penny Andrews (Ivy Tech)!
